We‘re looking for someone to be part of takingRNZ’sprimetime Saturday Morning showto the next level with its onair and online content. 

An outstanding Presenter/ Producer for Saturday Morning will:

  • Bring confidence and a commanding presencelive on air 
  • Be calm and effective under pressure 
  • Use audience insights to develop strong story ideas, anglesand to identify opportunities that deliver to and connect with Saturday Morning’s audience
  • be a team player who can work collaboratively across RNZ’s weekend programme and other broadcast and content teams 

 

Ōu Pūkenga - About You

We're looking for someone with an ear for a great story, who has great organisational skills and strong, established connections with diverse New Zealand communities. 

We're also looking for someone with experience: 

  • Producing in a live radio broadcasting environment
  • Managing professional relationships 
  • Writing for radio and online platforms 
  • Delivering an engaging experience for audiences both on air and online. 
  • Telling the stories that matter from breaking news to interviewing every day kiwis doing interesting things 
  • Simplifying the complex and connecting with everyday New Zealanders 
  • Performing and creating compelling listening experiences
