Te Mahi – About the job
We’re looking for a proactive and organised People Experience Coordinator to provide support across a wide range of People Team functions. This is a hands-on, varied role that contributes to the day-to-day running of the People Team, while also getting involved in the delivery of people initiatives that enhance our culture and capability.
You’ll support managers and kaimahi with timely advice, work closely with our People Business Partners, and help ensure the People Team remains visible and responsive.
We’re a fun team, focused on lifting others up and that includes you. We’ll support your development and provide opportunities for you to grow in areas that you’re interested in, enabling you to become a confident, customer-focused advisor or business partner over time.
This role will include:
- Preparing and maintaining employment documentation, including employment agreements, variations, onboarding and exit paperwork.
- Managing the People Team inbox, delivering customer service and advice and responding to people related queries from managers and kaimahi, making recommendations and referring to relevant person when necessary.
- Maintain, support and give advice about RNZ people processes including annual performance review, remuneration and recruitment systems and processes.
- Support managers by providing coaching and guidance on people-related matters. Escalate people-related risks in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Support organisational projects related to
health and safety, culture and engagement, workforce planning, and systems
improvements in line with our RNZ Strategy
Ōu Pūkenga - About You
Ideally you will have a tertiary qualification in a human resources related field, but we will also consider applicants who have relevant and transferable skills gained through work experience.
As well as that you should have the following knowledge & skills:
- Experience in a generalist HR administration, coordination or junior advisory position.
- Familiarity with New Zealand employment legislation
- Experience supporting a variety of end-to-end HR processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Ability to work with discretion and always maintain confidentiality.
- Proactive and flexible in approach to
working.
