Te Mahi – About the job
We’re looking for a talented journalist to report on important issues affecting Pacific communities in Aotearoa and across the region. In this role you will carry out research and interviews to gather news information, and to write, edit and voice news items and extended pieces on air and online. We are also seeking someone with on-air and news reading experience.
Ōu Pūkenga - About You
You will:
- Have a tertiary qualification in Journalism or equivalent work experience
- Bring accuracy, attention to detail, curiosity, speed, and creativity to your work
- Have some knowledge and a strong interest in the Pacific region, and issues affecting Pacific communities both in Aotearoa and across the region
- Be calm under pressure while working to tight deadlines
- Be flexible and able to commit to shift work
- Have a full driver licence
