Senior Producer, Checkpoint with John Campbell

This is a rare opportunity to join the ground-breaking Checkpoint team as RNZ looks to develop its journalism on-air, online and onscreen.

You will be a highly-experienced senior broadcast journalist who loves stories which shine a light on how people are impacted by the news.

An ability to work collaboratively across a number of platforms is essential, including an affinity with social media.

Experience subbing other people’s work (audio, visual and written) is mandatory and you should feel comfortable stepping into the studio to present the programme at short notice if needed.

This position will also provide cover for the editor and deputy editor.

If you are a well-read broadcast journalist brimming with ideas, Checkpoint would love to hear more about you.

Please note: A complete application includes your covering letter, a CV and showreel.

Applications close: Thursday 5 July 2018

RNZ is committed to the principles and practices of Equal Employment Opportunity and welcomes applicants reflecting New Zealand’s cultural and ethnic diversity.
