Senior Producer/Backfill Presenter/Journalist Morning Report

New Zealanders who want to start their day with the country’s best news coverage tune into Morning Report.

Day in and day out Guyon Espiner and Susie Ferguson combine first-rate reporting with intelligent analysis, coverage of breaking news, sport, business, politics and culture.

The country’s highest rating radio programme, it is also making its mark online.

We are looking for someone to join the team as a senior producer/journalist based in our Auckland office.

You will be a highly-experienced journalist who has an ability to work collaboratively across a number of platforms. You will have an affinity with digital story-telling, including the use of social media.

As well as being involved in morning production tasks including chasing talent, setting up interviews and writing compelling on air introductions you will also work on your own original stories for Morning Report. This means some travel will be required.

For the right candidate the position will also include filling as the programme presenter.
